Al-Sahir - an Og mage, Entry 7

"What? So soon?" you say? Well yah, I've been kinda power-leveling lately in BSD so I could hit aerlinthe this weekend. I just smacked down 45 last night the 27th. I must admit it was rather bland for the past 5 levels although a few interesting things happened. I have to admit this will be one of the shortest journals.

The first highlight of this journal was my second trip to ML plateau. I was a bit more ready this time and I knew what to buff. It was rather interesting and boring at the same time. I'm personally peeved that no one does the queen quest anymore now that they nixed the pincer fellowships. I feel that is kinda self-centered but I don't feel I have the space or time to explain my perceptions on the matter. I got up there and buffed and baned for physical attacks only. I didn't feel like facing any mercenaries or elder shaman. Buffing for the elements takes me much longer then I like so I just try and buff what I need to. I ran north, south, east, and west. I killed a few kithless birdies and I have to admit I love them. Their loot is great and they are easy kills. I ended up getting maybe 20k of items off of one. I also killed a few feral carenzi. Now I hate them... the magicD is just to high :( I'm heading up there again today so I'll see if anything has changed feral carenzi resist wise since I have raised my creature and life skills just a tad more. I also killed a few aun. Nothing special there. Oh, and the usual run from dark wisps. Are they a pain or what?

The second eventful night was when I met up with Zerfall. A character who has read a journal or two of mine and hangs around the boards. He ended up seeing me and we started conversing. He's a good guy, definitely one of the better players in AC. He ended up getting a bit of vitate so we fellowed up and easly got rid of it in a span of 5 or 6 minutes. All in all it was pretty productive I'd say. I also warned him I'd put him in one of my journals *grin*.

I received my GSA the other day too. Thanks to my wondrous patron Emalia and fellow vassals I was able to receive a set of GSA. I think it is great armor. I love the AL and the number of buffs it takes isn't to high unlike the other Shadow armors. You gotta love Amuli. I love the buffability of the stuff. It's great. I'm going to use it on Aerlinthe this weekend exclusively.

On a final note I'd like to say that I have finally reached my goal of getting to Aerlinthe. I will be heading there this weekend and I know I will have a blast. I'm also going to bring back a few goodies for my co-vassals and my patron if she wants anything. It will be a very productive weekend. Until then I'm going to be gaining funds on ML Plateau and hopefully kill some olthoi for SIKs. I still need 7s. I can't think of any goals currently but I'll hopefully have some for the next journal. Until then keep draining everybody, and pick up a good book.
