Welcome fellow Dungeon Dwellers,

GCD part:1

The Grendaline Consulate Dungeon is the current dungeon my lvl 15 BM returned to his lvling at. Now for those this is a lvl 25+ restricted dungeon. My esteemed melee Xoeram Guildamire had paid a hefty M note to a weary passerby who happened to be lvl 13 and in this restricted dungeon. Entailed is the method to this madness.

Step:1 Enter the dungeon w/ a portal mule, your gimped old char or your higher lvl char that you aren't currently using.

Step:2 Once inside you will be on a somewhat platformed perch. Underneath this perch is a long narrow hallway going back under and thru the wall to another part of this dungeon.

Step:3 Jump off perch and make 180, enter the hallway.

Step:4 You will find a few Drudges in here and into the bigger hallway that it leads to, continue forward.

Step:5 Go upstairs on the twisty staircase, careful, there will be drudges coming down the case trying to bite your head off!!

Step:6 There will be a small room w/ a virindi servant and a portal w/ this cool electricity type effect going on. You may dance w/ the virindi if you wish or make a bee-line towards the portal(4 the scurvy cowards out there, or the insanely careful)

Step:7 You should land in yet another part of the dungeon and be in front of another portal.

STEP:8 TIE TO THIS PORTAL. If you check the inscription it is the Grendaline Consulate Portal, but w/ no restrictions.

Step:9 Get to your BM and portal him in.

You have now passed the restrictions of the Grendaline Consulate Dungeon, and the fun can now begin...

GCD part:2

Once your BM has past the lvl restriction using the loophole (see above) it's time to start cracking drudge heads.
At lvl 15, I am casting 4's in vulns/harms/flames. Use all 3 to your discretion. The platform gives you a hearty jumping point from which to start. Stay on there for a few lvls...no need to jump down in it just yet. Usually a fellow melee happens by and drags Drudge Lurkers and Stalkers underneath the platform for you. Fire away from above and you'll gain quick results. If there isn't anyone around you can use your other char to lure them under the platform. There are drudges in every direction to lure out. One important note to follow is staying a bit back and towards the wall of the platform. Reason for this is that there is Preprogrammed Drudge AI that makes a few drudges walk up one side of the platform and down the other. As long as your not in it's AI path it will continue. But as I experienced bieng a few inches back from it the AI picked me up and I was swept up into face to face combat where I literally got the crud beaten outta me in my gimpy Mattaker coat and AL:130 leggs. Also note a few Virindi Slaves may wonder out. Level up here until at least 17-18. Once you hit that mark it's time to sweep the floor for awhile.

GCD part: 3


I want to send a shout out before I start to Puzzz. This guy used the backdoor at lvl 1 and was slowly but surely fighting his way up on these drudges. He had gone up to lvl 6 by the time I joined him. Although we both died quite a bit he managed to pull 3 lvls and get up to 9 just before I logged out. I myself grabbed a few as well. The xp there is good. On my list of topics for this journal is doing a little shoot and scoot. Get down off the platfrom just a few times, get your feet wet a bet. Be careful, the drudges tend to gang up in 3's, so take em out quickly. Don't stay down to long, because when you pull one you pull them all. They come from all 4 hallways and if your not careful they'll bite you. Whenever possible climb back up the platform to get outta the way. If you happen to have vitae from a recent death, I find doing a little Draining of the drudges underneath the platform in the hallway to be some good vitae killer. They are usually right below you in the hallway under your feet. If your brave sweep that hallway, just follow it back to where it opens up again, usually quite a bit of Drudges here in that last room. I'm quickly moving up and will have item soon. Once I hit that I'm moving to another dungeon folks, but I'm going to try and give my own fair review of BSD first. Till next time. Good Journey!!

P.S. Our Brave Adventurer Puzzz lvling from 1-9 in this dungeon deserves a hearty "w00t!!!!!!!!!!"

GCD part: 4

This will be the final part of my look @ GCD so consider this part 4 or in actuality part 3 1/2. The big reason for this addition is the dolls and certain rumers that Ravs are beyond the unrestricted portal tie. I'll check out the portal once I hit 20. W00t!!!!!! I'm currently lvl 18 and kicking it hard...but the dolls are the reason 4 this addition. Kick some of them in the duff w/ a few acid blast 4's and have a little fun w/ them. I am now coming off the platform more often and of course once I hit 20 I'm going to explore the whole dungeon and give a slight addition to this. My lvl 20+ part of this guide will be a fair review of the BSD, which I'm sure you all know is a very controversial dungeon to make reviews about (see Dizz's review). I will not make any journal entries until then. I should have hit 20 by this weekend assuming I can lvl a lot on my day off this thurs. Till then Happy Hunting All!!!!!!!!!!!

Staying off the Platform

Yes my friends I have returned. This time determined to reach lvl 25 and move into the Envoy area. But this time I'm not staying near the front rooms, it's time to stake your claim in the halls and the Big Drudge Room. This room spawns an average of 8 Stalkers (Might be more I lost count) and a few that will walk down the stairs from above.....the best way is to just come down the hallway guns blazing, shooting off Flame 4 like it's going outta style...When you get into the room all the Drudges will surround you, careful that you do not forget a buff or 2 or they will bite your head off. Good xp here to reach through lvl 24 and 25. I use the sweep method...just plow through them on the way to the other side and then let them gather up at the stairs while you plink them one at a time. Not much else to add this time around, trying to get ready for baby so it's short and sweet, just like I'm hoping these last 2 lvls will be. Envoy is next hopefully within about a week.
