....Ah Holtburg. An Aluvian town up in Northern Osteth!
Well let's get to it. Upon landing after answering the Call of Asheron from
Ispar, immediately get to town. Depending upon where you landed you'll need to
find a certain dungeon that is signified by a blue portal. A Drudge Hideout.
Once indoors, there should be a gate leading to the exit portal, and one leading
into a small room. This gate is locked so bring along your lock picking mule or
create (if you have an empty space) a lock picking throw away char. Once in this
room you will kill 2 low lvl drudges and wait. You shouldn't have to wait long
because upon the floor will be FREE LOOT!!!!!!!! Yes somehow someway the Loot-o-Matic
has gone haywire and is spawning all types of weapons on the ground. The only
thing you have to do is constantly kill the 2 drudges that pop up in between
stuffing your pack full of FREE SELLING LOOT!!! Once you have reached the
maximum amount that you can hold and still move head for the door. Being
Ultimately burdened it will be a SAFE, but SLOW run into the Smith Vendor where
you will reap the rewards with quite a few X notes.
****Side Note*****
Don't forget to fill up your throw away lock picking char as well, It will be 2 SLOW and SAFE runs, but money is the object of this part and you need to buy those components to learn your lvl 1 and 2 War and Life spells.
****End Side Note*****
Now if you haven't done so make sure to get those explorer pieces
(wands/jewelry) that have low diff and cast nice lvl 2 buffs. They are a nice
boost and help out along the way.
Now head to the mage shop and learn you some good fryin spells.
After learning all the spells your current skills can, you need to head to
Glended Woods. Glended Woods is where you will begin your indoor leveling. Now
here is the tricky part. As A BM our run sucks bad at lvl 1. So here is what I
did.
You obviously will die on the road in between Holt and GW, but there is a small
little known shortcut just off the road a few clicks outside of Holt. It is a GW
portal, but surrounded by a lot of nasties. You will most surely die trying to
get there unless you try a couple of craftily things like I did.
One extra note before I go on to the next chapter...you can save your money and
buy comps in GW to learn your spells, nothing wrong with that and If I had been
smart enough I would've done it simply because I still would've had some extra
dough to buy back up mana charges @ the GW mage vendor.
Next Chapter I will reveal an Overlooked dungeon by many mages as leveling
dungeon, I went from lvl 1-8 easily in here, you could stay longer, but once you
hit lvl 9 I have a better place for you, bye for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
