Dizz's Diary - Still Wandering around

This diary will probably be shorter than usual due to the fact that I'm very busy and I haven't accomplished much over the last week. As always the html version of this is available at http://www16.brinkster.com/dizzarian/

So what the hell you been up to?

Well levels 23-25 I leveled up in the area around teth just like I was in the last diary. So nothing really new there. The reason I haven't leveled much is because I've been doing quest and clan things a lot lately, and those haven't include dizz so my time hasn't been used leveling dizz that much.

Golems

Something that has come about since my last diary is some new game that I've been hunting. Since my skills are raising, higher level golems are now on the dinner plate. I've been fighting Coppers and Irons any time I can't find any drudges to kill. Yup that's right by 25 you should be able to take down an Iron Golem with relative ease. Although they don't have the same strategy as drudges so let me tell you what I've found to be effective. First I equip my War wand. I fire an Acid 4 bolt, then acid vuln 4. If the vuln lands then that's icing but it's not necessary. After that I just continue to let him have it with acid. You can try to drain some stam off of them but I've found they don't have enough of it to really be beneficial. At 200 buffed ware skill I can hit an Iron Golem at about 65% which is plenty since they move so slow.

25 now what?

*Sigh* I've been asking myself this question for last few days. I really don't want to go drain and I really want to get away from teth so I've been searching for that perfect spot just can't find it. If you have any really good outdoor places to hunt at this level then please send them in and I'll try them out. Part of my problem is that I know in 5 - 7 more level and I'll be knee deep in tuskers and the xp will be flowing (hopefully). I'm so close I can taste it.

Ves Islands

So one of my ideas was to try out the new islands and see what kind of xp I could generate there. The main things that populate the first few islands are Mossies, Island Dillos, Jungle Wasp, and Shallows. So I'll run through these real quick.

• Mossies - I was really hoping these would substitue my drudge addiction but alas the xp isn't that great and for some reason they seemed to resist me a lot more than they should have. But over all they are pretty easy kills.
  Isle
• Dillos - OMG I never knew these things were so vulneriable to Acid. Seriously, I 1 shot one with Acid 4 no vuln last night! If that doesn't make you feel powerful nothing will. The only problem is that if you fizzle or they resist and they start chomping on you could get into trouble really fast.
• Jungle Wasp - MMMmmm... 6k experience a piece! yup these thing are so sweet and only a little harder than their gold cousins. If you can find them stop and enjoy.
• Shallows - Blaek.. don't care for these things. They hit pretty hard and the xp just isn't worth it.

So should you go to the islands?

I really don't know, I couldn't seem to get the steady stream of xp coming in that I was desiring. I almost convinced you could but there's another factor going on down there that's not like it is in other places, LAG! Yup just like when they first opened up the lag is still there, not as bad but there none the less. And sometimes it hits really hard, and we all know how lag effects a mage's efficiency.

Have I mention lately how much this Template Rocks?

I know it seems like I'm kind of down in this diary but I'm really not. I have never felt so powerful in AC as I have with Dizz. For example last night I took my level 40 something Archer on a Chor run with the clan. We're in there fighting luggies and he's plinking away at them for 40 to 50 pt a piece. That's it, Dizz can hit a luggie for 100+ easy sure it takes a little longer but the sheer power of it is incredible. Also with the way I can work drudges now and end up with exactly the same health,mana and stam as I started is just too cool.

Stats

So I've kinda stopped working on my main stats and I'm starting to concentrate on my skills. My goal is to have 200 base in both war and life by at least level 29.

So some of you may be looking at my stats and saying, WTF did he actually raise his loyalty??? Yes I did, I know a lot of people say this is just a wasted skill but It's not for me. I have a trade mule on another account that I'm sworn too. And this week Me and a friend of mine had given that trade mule enough xp to cast Summon Portal which we needed it to do a.s.a.p.
