How long have you been playing AC? two years

How much do/did you play every week? about 20-30 hours

What template of mage do you currently Play? spec Mana C/Run/Lore. I also play a spel Life/Creature/Mana C and a Spec War/Life

Is AC your first MMORPG? in not what others have you played and did you play a mage? I used to play Diablo, if that counts.

What was your first mage character? Do you still play it? Quetozin. He's still my main.

How do you play AC? Are you in it to power-level, Dungeon Dwelling, adventuring, friends, etc. In the time I have been playing, I have tried every style of play with the exception of PK (it's a RP thing ). Mostly nowadays I quest or explore. I also do a fair amount of socializing.

What gear do you normally hunt in? AL 220 plate.

What do you feel was the best thing to happen to mages in the game? Level VII war spells.

What do you think is the worst thing that affects mages? Hollow weapons.

Are mages overpowered? Yes.

What are your thoughts on Drain Health I? It's a great spell for the middle level mage. I don't think it's near as unbalancing as the Melees tend to. The max damage you can do with it is 100 points, and you have to be up close and personal to do so. Given that it only works on certain critters, that's not the biggest advantage in the world.

What template do you advocate for a starting mages? It all depends on what they want to do, how far they want to go, if they're role-players or powerlevels, etc... In general, you can't go wrong with a Life/Mana C spec, but that's being VERY general.

What do you feel turbine needs to do with mages, if anything? Nothing is needed.

After the primary skills have been obtained what skill do you think a mage should take? Arcane, Healing, Lockpicking, or MeleeD? It depends on the level and style. By far the best skill for me has been Melee D, but you have to be very high level to see the advantages. I love LP as well, because I am a big dungeon crawler/explorer. In my mid levels I used Lore all the time, and with cantrips I am starting to again.

Care to reminisce? What has been the best patch or moment or epiphany that you have had in AC. Too many to list.
