How long have you been playing AC?
2 years
How much do/did you play every week?
Couple hours a day, longer on weekends.
What template of mage do you currently Play?
Gharu, Spec Life/Resist/ManaC/Arcane,
100/10/10/10/100/100, I call it a Divisor Mage or DIV others call it
insane.
Is AC your first MMORPG? in not what others have you
played and did you play a mage?
Basically my first, tried some others but dont like
forced group play.
What was your first mage character? Do you still play it?
Sho, 10/100/10/10/100/100, All trained,
wish i did, hed be lvl 126+ by now and ungimped by recent patches.
How do you play AC? Are you in it to power-level, Dungeon
Dwelling, adventuring, friends, etc.
Little of everything, whatever im in the mood for.
Spend a lot of time hunting rare drop items to trade.
What gear do you normally hunt in?
I wear a dyed white to match suit of decent al armor
with major and minor cantrips. I use the default impen spell on the
armor pieces and just imp7 my underclothes, helm, gauntlets, and
sols.
What do you feel was the best thing to happen to mages in
the game?
The increased exp fellows, lessened some of the
competition for kills (promoted teamwork somewhat) and gave better exp to
everyone.
What do you think is the worst thing that affects mages?
Arrogance.
Are mages overpowered?
No. There are plenty of areas that are life threatening
for anyone of any template and any lvl.
What are your thoughts on Drain Health I?
I like the spell itself, but its ability to be used
through walls should be removed, and its range could stand to be
lessened a bit.
What template do you advocate for a starting mages?
Creature spec, allows them to start with War, Life, and
Mana Conversion so they can learn the ropes right off the bat, and
allows them to stick with the template if they choose and still be able to
hand high resistance content without to much trouble at any lvl.
What do you feel turbine needs to do with mages, if
anything?
Whatever they want, I dont cry nerf when things change,
i adapt, and i enjoy the way the game evolves.
After the primary skills have been obtained what skill do
you think a mage should take? Arcane, Healing, Lockpicking, or MeleeD?
Arcane, useful for many nice quest items, makes
it far easier to hit the requirements of any cantrips you find or buy,
lessens buffing, and doesnt require you to raise any attributes that
wont increase your magic skills.
Care to reminisce? What has been the best patch or
moment or epiphany that you have had in AC.
Housing, drop muling when friends werent on was pretty
scary.
Comments? Shot outs?
Man would i like to be in AC2 beta!!! Jay?
