Og Rez - an Og mage by Oren, Entry 3
Og Rez's Journal #3 - 2.19.02
Golem Paradise
When we last left Og he got to the Golem Burial Grounds located at 50.9S, 67.3E.
So, he has all his level III spells and he was ready to rock! This is my most
powerful mage I have ever had. I like this extreme Og template. If you are
interested, here is my buff cycle (I usually dont fizzle):
Willpower Self III, Focus Self III, Creature Enchantment Mastery Self III, Life
Magic Mastery Self III, Stamina to Mana I, Health to Mana I, Stamina to Mana I,
Health to Mana I. I lay down... Stamina to Mana I, Health to Mana I, Stamina to
Mana I, Health to Mana I, Endurance Self III, Strength Self III, Mana Conversion
Self III, and Armor Self III, and Bludgeoning Protection III, and I should have
casted Magic Resistance III because, Golems spells are so annoying. They always
Invuln you and shoot shockwave and all that. Pretty annoying if you ask me.
Golems are Mages Primary dinner at these kind of levels.
Back to the story. I regain mana and get ready to drain some Golems. There are
Granites, Limestones, and Sandstones golems. Their Magic Defenses are:
Granites - 132
Sandstones - 80
Limestones - 83
If you are also interested how I drain them, here it is (Not Including Fizzls!):
Magic Yield Other I, Health to Mana I (before this spell, I have full health),
Drain Health Other I, Health to Mana I, Drain Health Other I, Health to Mana I,
Drain Health Other I, Health to Mana I, (if fizzles, an extra: Drain Health
Other I, Health to Mana I), Harm Other I until he is dead and after he dies a
Stamina to Mana I and i have 50% Stamina, 95% Mana, 65% Health and I move on to
the next golem and do this procedure to 2 or 3 golems... rebuff, regain mana,
and there you have it! I don't know about you but, it worked for me.
So I go around and cleared the dungeon once, and went to my new home: The
Draining Spot. It's on the East Wing, past the 2 Sandstone Golems, and up the
ramp, behind the blue crystal. You drain Granites, 3 per spawn. The Sandstone
Golem tries to go up the ramp when he spawns, but if you are standing near the
wall, or behind the crystal, he will fall down the ramp. Then you drain him.
Rinse and Repeat this procedure over and over... and over. I got from 8-10 in 3
1/2 weekdays of playing (2 hours per weekday), and then to 13 in another 1 1/2
weekdays and 1 weekend (Saturday from 7 P.M. E.S.T. - 1 A.M. E.S.T. and Sunday
12 P.M. E.S.T. - 5 P.M. E.S.T.). My stats are as follows:
Strength - 45
Endurance - 100
Coordination - 10
Quickness - 10
Focus - 125
Self - 130
Creature - 128
Life - 128
Goals are by 20:
Strength - 65
Endurance - 120
Coordiantion - 15
Quickness - 50
Focus - 160
Self - 160
Creature - 155
Life - 155
But I'm just like Dizz, no offense. I NEVER reach my loft goals. Hehe. Well
until next chapter: The Lugies
