Part IV - The Hell of Baishi
At that time Baishi was still the hometown of my
allegiance, BrellClan, prior to the move to Lytelthorpe.
Therefor I was kind of returning home although I never
really liked the place due to the insane lag. This is the
result of Baishi being the hometown of two major Leafcull
allegiances, BrellClan and the Empyrean Guard.
Well I arrived and found the LS and then went on to find
the little fortress (I cannot remember the name and I am
at work) with the tower the bow users like so much to
kill mosswarts and drudges that spawn below. I found
three wood golems below one of the entrance portals to
the fort and started killing them, easy with fire. In
between golem spawns I scouted the area and identified a
Lugien spawn nearby, some four Laigus and Amploth, I used
electicity vuln III and lightning bolt II to send them
int next MT, they hardly ever resist. Then back to the
golems, did this all day Saturday, nobody else was
around, the one bow user that showed up got killed
swiftly and decided to retreat back to his tower. Made it
to LvL 14 in two days and thought about leaving. Would I
have left I would have avoided the one episode that so
far pushed me to the edge with this template
.but
just one more level to complete till LvL 15.
I like nice, rounded finishes....................
I found another spwan of Lugies close to the LS and
started finishing them off, then suddenly the vortex,
back to the LS
.damn rock throwing suckers I thought
and did not look back in the chat what killed me - bad
mistake. Body recovery mission was unsucessful and ended
with another free LS recall - first time I ever had 10%
vitae. I checked what killed me - Zephyrs, these poor
little excuses for a wasp. I did not even see em. I was
stuck, could not even get my III protects done, all armor
in the bodies, no item for banes, a totally screwed BM
was there at the Baishi LS. This situation proved that it
pays to roll the BM on the server where your other chars
are, Tokugawa So my LvL 30 melee dispatched of those
nasty little flies in seconds, I got my bodies and tried
to remember the spawn points. Anyway the spawns were so
irregular, they killed me altogether nine times that day,
making this the most painful leveling period I ever did.
You may call me persistent or stupid that I stayed, both
is probably fitting. I will never forget this time from
LvL 14 - 15, the Hell of Baishi.
It was time for more Grey Giant Smurf fun, I packed my
stuff. Happyness is Baishi in a rearview mirror. I headed
to the Web Maze, took the Hebian-To portal and off I was.
Heb I am coming.
To be continued
.
Battle on friends. May Lord Asheron look favorably upon
your path.
