The snowball is a rolling and the hill is getting steeper. Have to wonder if the future holds a F2P option for every game. Interesting that EQ2 is taking a baby step to test the waters rather than jump all in. Guess it is a move that once you go F2P it would be next to impossible to reverse. I think in the future you are going to get mainstream MMOs as F2P and the hardcore player MMOs will be small niche games that charge a monthly fee.
