Hiya gang...glad to see dizz's site still up and running.


I've been so very very busy since I've been away.

Hmmm letsee....had 2 more kiddos....so total of 3 now.

8 yr old James (my gamer sidekick)

2 yr old Jordan (yngst son, another year till he really starts on Nintendo type stuff...future gamer)

1 yr old Olivia (future game journalist, haha...maybe)

Still a Sprint tech if anyone ever caught that from my last day at vn

Yes I'm no longer a volunteer or even a poster there anymore. Kinda moved on and whatnot

Still hanging around the MMORPG scene but my tastes changed quite a bit...I went from gungho WoW explorer/quester to bloodthirsty PvP'er. I ended up picking up Warhammer for a year until I had to put a hold on the sub for a small bit to take care of the baby, now that she's older I'm getting back into MMO's and about to introduce my oldest son to WoW for supervised gameplay. He messed around in Warhammer back when I had a sub and seems to be very interested in it and thought he'd cut his teeth on WoW so for his birthday am picking up the latest xp pack and restarting my sub there. We are both playing a free char in DDO just for grins and he really is enjoying the questing/grouping aspect of that game so I know WoW would just expand on that for him.

I'm currently in Darkfall...and while the game is pretty much a PvP lovers dream I'm contemplating resubbing to War just to get the faster instant PvP fix with more PvE than Darkfall has.

Darkfall gives me that old world explorer feeling from AC days (was what drew me in), but I think the populations are dropping because I am even in a clan and find it hard to find large scale PvP fights, even small group ups to find whatever small amount of quests the game does offer....it is slowly starting to feel like a biiiiiiiiig empty world and while I enjoy solo play as much as the next even not finding mobs to fight in the large world is getting to me.

I am definately enjoying the fruits of all the mining, logging and herb gathering as far as making money goes...its nice to have made 1 grand in gold in under the 2nd hr of my first day of gameplay. So I think on the side of my son playing WoW I will probably reconnect with my old chars for some of that...but I gotta get my raw PvP fix in...and I'm thinking WAR was the easiest for me to just jump right into some. (Absolutely not interested in WoW PvP...yuck). Keep sieges and the city battles are freaking awesome to me even if others think it's broken...I've never had a complaint doing them...heck even felt previlaged to be lucky to have a few under my belt.

So wondering what everyone out there is playing, whether PvP or not...
Games not picked up...
Vanguard (heard that was a nightmare still)
DDO pay for play (haven't justified considering been doing lots of gameplay on the free the last 2 weeks)
Age of Conan (heard this was PvP but kinda broken after lvl 20)
Everquest 2 (see it has great PvE...haven't heard a dime about any PvPing going on)
Lord of the Rings (heard this was no PvP...would be interesting to hear anyone's take on it)
Eve (think I did a trial and pretty much got lost on the learning curve)
DAOC...think I might have a hard time with the grind I Remember this game having...unless it changed

Thought about doing something real stupid like ACDT but thought better of it...still...could be nostolgically fun to give a months time to it as long as getting restarted, finding my old chars, and etc was easy enough and money wise was low cost. Heard you have to buy the lastest xp pack because of the graphic update...never followed up on that...came and went while I was playing other games.
