Time for part 8, if it gets a little long, I apologize. A friend recently showed me a Tusker Camp that isn't badly camped, so I made my way there to try it out. I threw a vuln at the first Tusker, and down at me came 5 Guards, a bit more than I had expected. I was still using V banes, so I ran just a little away, 3 I could handle, but 5 were still a bit much. I made 39 real fast, and then finally 40: So it was time to switch to VI banes, I reached the 240 buffed item after only building that skill for quite some time. I learned my banes and then I never got hit for much more than 4 on average, what a change. All of a sudden I could tank all 5 Guards per camp at once, without ever really breaking sweat, awesome. I stuck to these camps, running away if the Hollows felt like chasing me, if the Raveners came, I killed them. So I made it to 41: A couple of people have asked how I handle 5 Guards at once at my level, so here's a brief description of how I do it: Target the nearest Tusker, if line is clear, move him to radaregde, fire a bolt followed by a vuln (If he is not in line of sight, just vuln). I use piercing vuln and force bolt, and if the vuln lands, the bolt hits for 120-210. He's going to come at you now, with all his friends, do a stamina to mana if you're mana is down, and drain the Guards stamina once or twice, drain health once, and finish off. Now, you have 4 Guards on you still, select another, vuln it, drain health if needed, do stamina to mana if needed. Drain health again, drain stamina if needed, drain health again (Till you get 40 or so), finish off. Select the next, vuln, drain a few times, blast it. Some will go "But you're a battlemage, you shouldn't use life so much." Well, when you have 5 Guards on you, draining health is needed, unless you feel like running off and killing 1-2 of them, then run back for the others. I tried switching to a robe and underwear, strangely enough their average damage went up, so it didn't take long before I switched back to my armour suit, I take much less damage just buffing it. These camps were still giving me awesome xp, so I hit 42 last night: I am currently helping my friend and monarch level a portal bot that the allegiance uses. Swore to it at 35, and the bot was level 36 and fizzling summon alot, now it's like 100K from 38 and doing better on the summons. To finish part 7 off, here is a picture of my current stats:
